Any thoughts on 2005 international 8600 with a Cummins ISX?
I know a guy is open to selling it for a fair price. Has about 450k miles on it

Why are people allways looking at the miles a truck has?
The hours on a engine will tell you much more about how far gone that engine is.

Unless the ECM took a dump i cannot see any reason to reset it.

Because they're cheap! Cheap trucks demand cheap prices!

Not many people want to buy a used International. You shouldn't either.

I wouldn't buy a International. I'm thinking about trading mine in for a Cascadia, and I'm just a co. driver. :)

Exactly. I've seen some trucks with less than 50k on the odometer and 20k hours on the engine. Hours for engine/trans wear and miles for diffs and the rest of the truck.

    daf105paccar Thanks this.

the law of economics set what price anything sells for based on supply and demand excess supply is going to drop the price regardless of the reason people are really selling eg engines or other mechanical issues. Which shows there's not alot of interest in this particular brand of truck, buy one that is in demand and spend a few extra bucks and you'll be glad you avoided this model.
