I apologize I thought you drove for them. And you're welcome. Lovesthedrive my husband and I had made a call to OOIDA January of 2009, and the representative for them was the one that told my husband and I that C.R. England lost their $50 million dollar lawsuit to their drivers. He lost it this year. Lovesthedrive, I would love to see him burn to the ground. Someone said to me that they would love to start a anti C.R. England campaign. Trust me, if my hubby didn't work for JCT I would be one of the ones on the front line.

Thank you Highgear. JCT would love someone with your experience. I have to agree with you, 4000 is not legal. JCT pretty much goes to the same customers as England, and we drive by most of the scales where they are constantly pulling England into the D.O.T. office. Like I posted, when a company like England gets audited by both the D.O.T. and the F.B.I. all on the same day, shucks something is seriously up with the log department. Highgear, I know first hand England has log burners out of the wazoo otherwise you don't make the money legally. Even the safety manager and his boss both were letting the drivers get away with it. They were just sitting in there cubicals looking important and that was it. This so called new plan like you said benefitted Mr. Dean himself not the drivers. England drivers today are still complaining they're not getting paid much. Heck, they don't even get fuel surcharge. The leasers get $0.90 c.p.m., that's it. And you had to make over $1,700.00 a week just so you could get something in your pocket. Totally pathetic. Did you see his trucks now? They're rags. Dented trailers, pathetic. Be safe out there please.

Diesel, I wish everyone knew about that rip off report about them and know what a low life scum of the earth he is. So many future heartaches it would save in the future not counting all the money those people would save. But you know Diesel, you will laugh at this. Like I told Highgear we travel pretty much to the same customers as England and my hubby and I were parked behind 2 England trucks. (How lucky is that)? Anyhoo, the front truck had a trainee and a trainer in it and the trainee was behind the wheel. We were in an alleyway so there was no way to semis could fit side side. My hubby goes up to the first truck and asks the driver to move up and park so the truck behind him could move and we could go to the dock. That idiot trainee looks at my hubby and says to him, why don't you just back your truck up and turn that b** around in the lot. Before my hubby was about to chew his head off, the trainer, jumps up out of his bunk and told the trainee to shut up and told my hubby give him a minute to put his shirt on and he will move the truck. Then he looked at the trainee and told him to shut up and never talk to a JCT driver like that again. The trainee looked at the trainer and said why should I take his crap. He said one that man asked nicely and two you ever talk to an O/O like that again don't come to me when your face hits the pavement. While hubby was talking with them, the second England truck I don't know what he was thinking doesn't bother looking out of his side mirrors, just starts backing straight up and dang near hits our truck. Saving grace my cat needed water because I looked up and saw that and laid on that air horn. Bottome line England is dumb.

A Driver is a person not a machine and should not have to live in their truck for more than 3 weeks at a time to make a living, a person should be able to go home, do their paperwork, and maintenance on their truck, home and automobiles, then wind down, relax, and spend quality time with their family, I believe one week home after 3 weeks in the truck is not unreasonable for these duties! If you believe that a person should only have 2-3 days at home or less after 3 weeks out,

Hungry Hippo I agree with you a 1000%. But thanks to this so called company, my hubby and I don't have a home to go to. :biggrin_2553: But in 4 years we should get it back. Right now the motels aren't that bad! And I still have my hubby and my cat. Along with a decent company. God watches over us.:yes2557:

Mmmm 1 week off, what a blessing. When I worked for Western they had me out for 18 days, tried to get 2 days off, they ripped into me for being a slacker beyond the 34. Ugh, and they have the audacity to be able to take a weekend off and call me a slacker.:biggrin_2554:

Ya know.. I could comment but it is below me. But I will comment on the lawsuit and the last few lines...

It was all related to Escrow funds. meaning the Maint and fule surcharge accts. also it was leases between 98 and 02... check your facts. and perhaps you should've read the contract b4 you all signed

Also, ummm yea... talking about how good of a driver I am? did you even read any of this? I claim to be adequate. I am far from ####y or complacent in my driving skills nor do I pretent to know everything. also it doesn't say how long I have drove because I never bothered to add it in my profile. much like my e-mail address... You know, the comment about "big dogs" sounds just like the good ol "super trucker" speed on by, grab that ticket and fuel up twice to my one.... remember why I am making money and you didn't.

Figure it's 33,000lb of truck mt (on average of course this varies) really think it was meant to do a buck on the highway?

That's about all of a responce this warrants

goodluck with JCT and glad they are working for u.

All about choice. And honestly I have always said it ain't for everyone... I never said it was unreasonable, just think it's hard to make a buisness prospor if the doors are closed all the time... Also I never really saw OTR as a family man job... if an ything dedicated or regional... but running all 48 you really expect to get home every 3 weeks?

:yes2557::yes2557:Just FYI GRandma Debi took one month off December (planned) and another month off February (got mad at virgil) and met him in WY this morning and is back in the truck on the road again and FYI the truck is white because virgil refused to lease the pink one she really wanted!

By the way Grandma Debi still likes having adventures in the CR England truck!

I have no experience and am planning to start school at the CR England Salt Lake City location on Monday the 9th. Been doing some research about going as L/O vs Company driver and to be honest, I'm now getting scared to even go at all. It sounds as if there is nothing but negative feedback. I just wanna work hard and get paid.
