More than likely it will b sometime next week we don't deliver this load til Saturday n Florida (n idaho now) it all depends on getting a load back to Springfield or somewhere close by d plan is to spend a day/2 on d pad for backing(road test shouldn't b a problem) but I back out here as much as possible and I'm not a big fan of d alley dock

We made it. What a ride. Yesterday we looked like an easy day. We got into the New Caney Tx the night before and had a lot of time before our 9:00am appointment. Got to Walmart and of course they took almost all of the four hours to get us unloaded. We then went to scan and wait on a load out. instructors clock was ticking so we were sweatin it a little. Got sent to Waco for a drop and hook. Not a big deal but we were pushing it with the clock. Washed out our trailer and topped off the fuel on it and headed to the skittles plant. What a cluster. Took almost 2 hours for a drop and hook. Now instructor's clock is done. So I drove it from there through Dallas with a contruction delay we made joplin at about 3:30 Fueled up then to bed.
It was an awesome sight to see the storms to the north west as we headed up 69. Then realized we were headed into them. We took a PnG (pee and go) at the turnpike and headed for Joplin. I had visions of a tordado taking us to Oz. But we outraan most of it.
Got up this am and the minute my clock was available we left drove to within 100 miles of our drop with about .5 hours left on the clock. It was cool to wave at Springmo as we passed. I got us here 20 minutes ahead of schedule and averaged 7.57 on the fuel. Shifting has become much easier though I still want to use the fuel when coming off the clutch but still better. Ove 50 hours done. Tomorrow our goal is to let my clock stay fresh until our next load so we can get in that fist 10 - 11 hours. The great skittles crisis has been avoided. -
