O ya, I know what ya mean lol I'm still learning how to secure these different loads. Current one is al the structural components of a steel building. Took 19 straps to secure it.

Nice that's a good work out. I hauled barns out of castle brooks in Fontana, and they too had lots of parts. My favorite thing to haul is equipment. Four, or six chains and go. What has the majority of the freight that you been hauling with prime flats

Just looked... we got 20 straps lol

It's been varied. Have had 2 loads of shingles. We had the match to this load, which is basically everything not structural lol Had a load of slinkies, some coils (eye to the side), sheet metal, and industrial a/c units. This load, n one other, required belly straps.

    GSWx Thanks this.

What's better: Get your CDL learners permit at home or wait until one gets to Prime and take the Missouri test? I recall the threads that favors MO, if one plans on relocation to SGF. I need to keep my home residence in Alabama. Thanks in advance.

Get the permit first. Makes life easier

    GSWx Thanks this.

Get the permit first. Study while you have time and aren't under pressure as much.

    GSWx Thanks this.
