i've heard good & bad stories about prime; there are plenty of other flatbed companies out there, mc elroy, tmc, maverick, hunt, btc, etc

I am glad that you are thinking of joining the prime family. I run a refer but have a lot of flatbed driver friends. But from what I have seen, we have not had a lot of freight in the north east for flatbed in the past. But I have seen more and more of them up there. I believe that it is picking up. Hope that helps and good luck.

We have Charlotte Pipe in Charlotte. Not sure of anything else... I havent been to NC in awhile, but Ive been on a run for awhile lol What training you would have to do is a question for a recruiter. I cant imagine it would be much with your experience. Nice load though...
