I got my call last Wednesday and was told I had been approved. Excited and anxious to head to Springfield to get this show on the road!
If anyone might have a little bit of helpful advice, it would be much appreciated!

Congratulations!! Best advice is to read the threads posted here documenting the journey of those who went before you. Don't be late to any class and stay awake!! Good luck!
KidCountry and da1 Thank this. -
I appreciate the input there ORD, I have have read a lot on post here but haven't seen much about what trucks Prime uses. I know Pete, Freightliners and Kenworth. If I'm going company side in reefer what would I most likely be put in and what kinds of trans?
-
We have a variety of trucks. Have some 387's ( I think) and the new 587s, which are Petes. Freightliner Cascadias are what most people have. Company Reefer, theres a 99.99999% chance of getting a cute Cascadia. All Prime trucks have Eaton straight 10s

I was just curious, heard through the grape vine that prime ran a lot of auto shift trans.
-
Your grapevine needs to be pruned. We have NO auto trans. Maveric runs the girlie autos, not us.

I will be doing so then, false info is unwanted from me. I have one other question for you and I know it's probably written somewhere in the hundreds of threads on here, but while i have someone answering a few questions i thought i might as well ask. Once your training is ccomplete and you go solo does your truck come home with you?
Sorry for all the questions.. -

Still might let ya take it home... Not sure though. I live 10 hours away, if ya time the lights right....

I'm only about 3 hrs away from Springfield, so maybe I will get lucky..
