sorry for asking.....
I've read a bunch of Prime threads and have spent some time on their website but I can't seem to find out the following:
1. How long must you stay with a trainer if you already have your CDL (just out of a PTDI school)? Not meaning to be rude or short, but please answer in the form of weeks, (frankly, the miles and hours thing seems almost to be a dodge).
2. What is starting pay and what is training pay?
Again folks, I don't mean to sound short, but I've spent some time on their website as well as here, and everything seems to be geared towards those who don't yet have their CDL or those who have some experience.......not much in between.
Thanks for the help..............

I thought I remember Primes training being very lengthy. 4-6 months with a trainer. Here is the link with the info:

Sorry, it's miles. 40,000 of them. Not weeks. And it totally depends on freight. If you and your trainer average 5k miles per week, it will be 8 weeks. You will get the $500/guarantee (since you are coming in w/ your CDL) for 4 weeks, then an automatic bump to $600/week after that. Anything over 5000 miles in a week is paid at 10cpm for the first 4 weeks, and 12 cpm thereafter.
Any breakdowns will obviously add days or even weeks to this time. If you have any incidents on the road, your mileage will be extended. If your trainer and/or your FM do not think you are ready, your mileage will be extended.
Once you upgrade to your own truck: UP TO 80k miles, 33cpm. Plus 5cpm for lightweight truck. Plus fuel bonus. 80k - 120k 34cpm plus aforementioned bonuses.
