1. The FL Cascadia LWs were running the DD13. Can't say about any of the other trucks they ordered. JCW had a 2012 FL.
2. You have to stay out a minimum of 3 weeks before you can go home. This is one reason why it is a good idea to take hometime just before you finish out your TNT. Your FM will try very hard to route you through your home after you get your own truck to pick up any stuff you have there, but don't count on going home for at least 3 weeks. It depends on how close you are to the freight lanes your fleet is running. JCW was out 6 to 8 weeks most of the time, except when we had things he wanted to be home for. (Guess what, he never missed a big meet.)

The engines are 13-liter versions of whatever they're putting into the truck you get. Prostars are a MaxxForce engine, as mentioned Cascadias are DD13s, and I assume the Paccar trucks are a 13-liter ISX.

I just quit. Its been less than 4 weeks. I think if I took on a trainee right now the stress of those first two weeks would probably drive me back to ciggarettes.
