New to Prime INC - What to expect (Springfield edition)

AND so my journey begins to get back into driving again,Thanks to all in this forum that gave a lot of insight in getting me pointed in the right direction that looks like its gonna work for me after being out of it for about 13 years.

FYI for anyone thats been out as long as i have, try to have all your past records on hand, as i have found out according to one company there is nothing on my DAC even though i have driven for 11 years, even called Millis the one company i had worked for thats still in business and even they didnt have records back that far to have me in their system, from what they told me anyway.

So for me anyway on my way to Springfield on the 25th, kinda sucks having to start over in a way but then again my very first trainer always told me the day i think i know it all i need to hang up my keys. .........so for me this is just my time to learn all the new stuffs out there to learn to get back up to speed as i'm sure the rest will fall into place once i get ahold of the wheel again

I have a cpap machine already. What are they going to ask of me?

 

You will need your last two years of data from a memory card so they can look it over when you do your physical

 

When I went through orientation, I had a new machine that I had only been using a few weeks. They were fine with that amount of data.

 

I did Prime's week orientation, but never made it past the first week... ended up leaving because they couldn't get my doc records for a back injury from the past year.... was good that far. I got my Form 100 from the MO Dept of Revenue

 

I've never been tested for sleep apnea but I likely have it. When they test me for it, will they let me purchase a CPAP and use it or will they DQ me? How much does that cost?

Also, I heard there is a waiting period if you get diagnosed with sleep apnea through your regular doctor. Is that the case if Prime doctors diagnose you as well?

 

From what I understand, as I did not have to go through the sleep study, after you do your PSD training, then you do the sleep study, if diagnosed then they (prime medical doctor) you purchase the C-Pap machine and Prime deducts the cost in monthly payments from your settlement.
Check with the recruiter on the 2nd question as I "think" you have to have 1 years worth of data to give to the Prime Doc if you have a C-Pap machine already.
