Prime in Pittston (NE regional tanker... I think)

Cableguy, yes the terminal is nice, you will be staying at the clarion just north of the terminal. Yes they do have 2 simulators at the terminal.

 

Hello. My husband was all new to truck driving. He went to PRIME training. Had an excellent trainer, drove company one year, then lease are doing great! PRIME treats us real well. If you want to do lease or owner--learn the business end and keep your own meticulous records. Any problems or issues or confusion-get with fleet mgr. or Mr. Lacey directly, and don't turn down to many loads, or get violations. PRIME is pretty strict and has high performance expectations, but is a good company to work for and PRIME treats their drivers well. Salt Lake City terminal is best for repairs and maintenance. Springfield best accomodations and food and fun! Pittston has the BEST washers and dryers, but not so good on the food and staff. Mr. Lowe Springfield and wonderful Christmas parties at all three terminals. We really enjoy PRIME!

 

At the clarion they have a breakfast or u can eat at the terminal. The cafe will have your name on the new orientation list. But do figure on bringing some cash with you.

 

I guess PRIME tankers are real, then... I was beginning to suspect they were a myth, as I'd never seen one - then today I've seen four in one day!

 

Who would warn against a laptop? Only thing you might be concerned about is a roommate running off with it. I brought my laptop when I went to orientation and have had it every time I've been near a terminal, never leave w/ out it.

Why do you think it could be a problem?
