Well guess I wont be training after all. Thought to ask one last question before setting it up and got a negative answer so Im gonna just concentrate on being a top solo driver. I believe that even though I would be training I should still have retained my right to refuse loads to unprofitable areas,in this case the north east east of I-81 and north of I-70. High fuel high tolls(and every major highway is a toll) and low trash rates are why I dont go. Not to mention added stress of too many cars not enough pavement and lack of enough truck parking. I was told refusing loads there would be a BIG problem. So that as they say is that. Im not gonna lose money because "you cant train a student to drive in those states if you refuse to go there".

For the record for the past 10yrs I had run loads into the Chicago area almost weekly sometimes more. If you can drive there you can drive anywhere

Oh now you know running up in the Northeast is a great thing. If you don't believe me then ask your dispatcher they have plenty of freight to prove it. I will tell you that the Northeast just flat out sucks. Don't blame you one bit. Can't see the point of running in that area and not make any money.

Chicago isn't anything compared to the DC/NY area.
The sprawl all the way from Richmond to Boston is a PITA.
