"Driver of the year..." will ya stop? There is a TWIC office in our terminal in Springfield MO that is open 5 days a week.
Southward... you will have to visit the same office twice to get that TWIC card. AFAIK, there's no way around that yet because of the biometric information they have to enter in the card after it's been made. You have no idea what an incredible hassle that is getting back to the same TWIC office twice once you're on the road. Except... you will be getting back to our primary terminal in Springfield reasonably often, and it's much easier to arrange a trip there than anywhere else. Get it after you're in TnT training.

TWIC Holders. What is the benefit of having a TWIC card? Can you charge a higher rate for a load? I've heard of being an escort for carriers who do not have a TWIC card; when and how does that work? The carrier I work for does not need anyone who holds a TWIC card but I did get one because I thought I was going with another carrier who required a TWIC card. I'm hoping to maybe get some brokered load for my carrier that could require a TWIC card to improve my value to the organization. Any thoughts?

As as a Prime driver I have on more than one occasion picked up loads at shipping ports.
