PRIME Drivers... What's your 20? (2)

On I69 south headed to Indy, then south to Houston. Had an interesting trip picking up a special type of sand for PPG in Houston. Set off the Radiation bells and whistles at the border and had to be detected and inspected. Not too bad of a process, but it did rob me of a couple hours of drive time. That and the 1.5 hours waiting for the clearance number and it looks like I have to do 1300 miles by 0800 Monday.... Not happening. Guess I'll be one of the troublemakers for Sales on Monday

 

Worth it fiscally to get the hazmat endorsement?

 

fj carneys pt nj....doing something I rarely do on the road......a reset cant wait to get rolling on mon for my 4drops hoping to get them all off in one day and get rolling out of the NE

hazmat I think its a good idea for van/reefer/tanker as for flat im not sure only did two hzmt loads with prime and they didn't pay much of anything extra for the co guys lease on the other hand it might be worth it

Council bluffs ta shop, our compressor is blowing out air in short bursts....sounds like we may have to limp to the dealer (air is staying built up) sick of seeing a shop bay

 

Produce run to Chesterfield NH. Get unloaded in the am.

 

Extra 'off' day yesterday, due to timing of weekend load. Bi~Lo in SC due Monday.
