The same way you replied to a thread but you open a forum up and start it from there. You'll see the big button that says "Start New Thread".

Please don't post duplicates all over like you are doing now. It just trashes the forums up and spreads your answers out.

I started with Prime in 08 and stayed with them threw 2010. They got great equipment no doubt. I was a company driver and really enjoyed my time there. I only quit because I had to stay out a month before I could go home. The good- I averaged 800-950 a week. Nice trucks. Great trailers. The bad. The trucks are slow. 60max. They will push you to lease all the time. And of course depending where you live depends on how long you stay out. If your more than 2% over on your body mass index you'll have to take a sleep study test. If you have any questions just ask. My sister still works for them and she loves them.

I have talked to one of the recruiters. I have a job at the moment but will be retiring in 01/03/2014 I told her that it would be February before I could get started I have a few things to get done before I could leave home for a few months. She said just to give her a call back when I was ready to get going. I have heard good and bad about this and other companies but I have to start some where. I feel Prime is as good a place as any to do that. They seem to have a good training system and pay as I train so that's a plus because I still have bills to pay and can't afford to go with out any money at all for a month or longer. Thanks for the info 5speed. I will be a company driver myself don't want to lease. I have heard bad things about any kinda lease program any company has. I just never have wanted to lease anything not even a car lol

You don't get paid really until you get your cdl. They are pretty adimate that the advance money is not to be sent home for bills.

The only time I was asked about leasing was to find out which upgrade class I needed to be in.

I'm 52 and researched for over a year before going with Prime. I like how they train, the equipment and the fact they are just one State over from me. I know I'm only one week into my TNT portion but I've yet to find anything that has raised the hairs up on my neck. Some may be my attitude (I'm here to learn and make the trainers $$ in exchange for them teaching me to be safe and how best to make the most money I can when I go solo) and the other part may be I've traveled my whole life from Navy brat, to Navy Vet, to Boeing and being self employed for 20 years.

I've also been very fortunate that everyone from my recruiter to my PSD instructor to my now TNT instructor have been 1st class and I've been able to learn from Flatbed drivers which is exactly what i wanted to do. Humble and focused on others (Instructors are there to make money too) has done me well and I hope that attitude will take me far when I'm solo not to mention that both my instructors stay in touch and help their students long after they leave their trucks.

I'm happy with Prime and I wonder if the more mature you are maybe the better the fit .......... I'm sure time will tell?

Prime is good overall. I liked them and my sister has worked for them for 6 years now. I went threw the training program and it was good for me. I had it a little better than everyone else because my trainer was an owner operater not a lease driver. I made good money. I didn't quit because I was mad but my kids were born and I didn't want to be gone a month at a time
