to let prime trucks park on a 2 lane street in the city. that runs along a shopping plaza.
there's only 2 lanes. there's no spare space for parking. you've shut the road down to 1 lane. and closed your curtains.
granted, there's no NO PARKING signs. but who would just park on the street and block off 1 lane.
right behind that truck. was a sapp bros. and TA. just on the other side of the bridge.
and it's highly unlikely he was waiting to deliver or pick up in that plaza. no room for trucks in there.
is it allowed by company

This must be the same Prime driver that gets on his brakes in Ohio because he sees a bear in the middle...speed limit was 70...Prime was pushing 60 with the tailwind.

Is this 2 lane right inside the shopping plaza? If so I don't see anything wrong with it considering the plaza is closing before long.Maybe he has an early unload appt tomorrow.
-
he was on a 2 lane street OUTSIDE the plaza. with 2 way traffic narrowed to1 lane. not 2 lane parking INSIDE. where it really wouldn't matter. IF he could get in there. that plaza wasn't designed for big rigs.

Not just Prime....it's the mentality of so many today...don't bother to check to see if you've left room. Similar to not backing all the way up in a parking slot. Carelessness and discourtesy.

...and a safety violation. If someone hit the bonehead, he'd be charge with a preventable. NO... it's not "allowed." Half the driver population here is very low-time, and could use a bit of experienced driver advice.
truckon Thanks this.
