Fiance and I are planning to go with Prime when we are finished with our CDL school. Seems like the best pay for newbies, best equipment etc. Really looking forward to it! Hopefully he will be heading their by the end of May or middle of June.

A CDL school in most cases will teach you the bare minimum, then when you get to where your at you will have to conform to what is another program.
If you haven't already signed up I would get my CDL at Prime, they start from A,B,C .

As a caution I will tell you that they may try to persuade you, and her to train for them, and your hopes of running team, will become a myth.

Always remember a business will always do what is best for them, especially a big company

Company trucks are governed at 62. Reason many of us stick to 55-58 is for the fuel bonus they offer. Up to an additional 6 cents a mile. My average per mile last year was roughly 46 cpm as a rookie, with that 4 cpm additional bonus for watching my fuel.

Many times the area your from doesn't matter especially if your running team the amount of miles you would run would be double a solo truck and that gives you some preference in most cases.

That shouldn't be a problem, however depending on where you live in Florida may be a big problem. North of I-10 is OK, there to Orlando is iffy, south of there is a deal killer. There isn't a lot of freight coming out of Florida, so getting you back there for home time is an issue.
