Because you know that the pickup or delivery place barely has enough room for a 24ft box truck much less a 72ft tractor trailer. two that come to mind for me is i can't remember the company name but it was a sausage plant in Hawthorne, NJ. I remember you come off a main road down through a subdivision to go a furniture store and turn left down an alley. The second one i just went to is A.M. Briggs in Washington D.C. getting to it was no problem it is just turning into where the docks are is really tight. Had to slide my tandems all the way forward and my right side mirror was about 2 inches away from the building and my trailer tandems barely cleared a 3ft concrete all on my left side. Once you are in the very small lot you have cars parked every where, thankfully the customer did send two people out to help spot you and guide you back into the dock.

Yeah that sausage plant was a joke when i was leaving a truck was turning in as i was trying to leave..... fun fun fun. Another one was Freeds Bakery Manchester NH, was there in the middle of winter for a pick up. You have to wait on the street then back in with employees cars on both sides to get back down to the dock, was rather tricky with so much snow on the ground.

Grocery warehouses, hands down, are just the worst, with very few exceptions. Shultz Sav-O in Sheboygan Wis. (now closed ,I believe) and Shannon in Appleton Wis. were pretty good, but places like like Super-Valu in Green Bay, Roundy's, Certco in Madison any place in Chicago, except Jewel was pretty good, but Certified in Chicago, I almost got in a fight there once with the receiver. And it doesn't make any sense, as these places depend on trucks and would be out of business without them.:smt102

Yo!! Farms in CT. Up hill for 8 miles through three neighborhoods. Silver Springs Water if you get doors 1-4, Walmart if you are even a minute late.

C&S cold storage Hatfield ma. Actually any of them it doesn't matter to me how big their lots are or if they have overnight parking but I cannot stand rude ppl and that is all I ever meet at C&S cold storage . I think they make it a hiring practice to only hire extremely rude ppl who hate truckers

I always seem to wind up with one of the doors on the south end at Certco, in the winter, after a big snow.
    URM in Spokane sucks, too.
