When I was a driver, it was pretty annoying when you were trying to rest and expecting an important message or your next load info . You wanted to sleep but you also wanted that message... Any other situation and I'd just turn the volume down and sleep on...

very annoying ing to roll over and find out about some Petro shut down on the other side of the country cause they're computers were down.

Of course i do and i still find Vernas messages bother some. Do you know how to allow another to state their opinion on ttr without having you make a hasty or smart remark to them?

Those messages while most may not apply to you, just may save other drivers a lot of time.

It could be worse. One time security sent out an emergency message fleet wide on the QC regarding a stolen trailer in the north east. I was in New Caney, TX at the time trying to sleep, and was awoken by a strange beep and "A new emergency message has arrived." I was rather unhappy when I found out what had caused me to scramble out of bed and find my QC in the front of the truck.

That being said, the QC system does support messages being sent out to only a specific geographic area (QC does it with Amber alerts), but in my 5.5 years at Prime, I'd never known them to use it.

Lol this guy. I outta him P.M. ten times a day with info on a traffic jam 2000 miles away, the weather info in tokyo, the tide report in hawaii, and info on a road closer but forget to mention the state (like verna). After after about two weeks of that we'll see if i can get so much as a smart remark out of ya. Im with taylor on this one the only thing i want to be woke for is load info, something critical like say a reefer alarm, or to be asked to do a favor such a repower or help another driver. That goes double for the text msg system whoever it is that using that system to send out fuel info to Olney drivers you gotta stop, or when road asst uses it to ask that we use the QC due to being short staffed i wish they would stop interfering with my rest.
