As a person who has been doing extensive research on Prime and is planning on joining their training program in a couple months, this thread makes me want to insist on a company trainer. And that's not something against L/Os. I don't want the extra pressure of knowing I could potentially cost an L/O's family some money, and I don't want the extra adversarial relationship of an L/O being afraid of me potentially costing his family money. I want to work for this large company, not an L/O, and so I want this large company to assume my risks while I am training.
What will they say to me if I insist on a company instructor/trainer? -

Hey Purple! Just a thought here... you might want to go back and really read that lease agreement you have with Success Leasing, and the operating agreement you have with Prime. All of your responsibilities under these contracts are clearly spelled out... including the consequences of a trainee under your supervision pranging Prime's property while you're responsible for it.
TruckDuo Thanks this. -

When I did my certification Stan made it very clear that we would have to pay the deductible. -
My trainer has never mentioned it but this makes me really feel bad about my door issue a couple weeks back.
