    Funny you mention Roehl.

Don't think they are bad at all. They were one of few I narrowed down to. Applied to them & would have considered. But, never heard back from them. Sooo, their loss........

Your going to hear good & bad about every single company. Just take it all with a grain of salt, and do your due deligence in researching whom your interested in. You can have the best company out there, and there will still be detractors and complainers. Think most important & helpfull thing for me was talking to as many actual drivers for companies of interest. Heck, I pretty much stalked the truck stops for a couple months!

The largest majority of your success or failure, wherever you go, is going to depend on your attitude & ability to take responsibility on your own. I think with the right attitude & work ethic, someone can do reasonably well at a lot of places.

Keep doing your research & good luck wherever you may decide to go. ;)

Not entirely correct. In my 5.5 years at Prime, I pulled a van 4 times. Their numbers are DV###, and they are, afaik, dedicated to one customer.

The dry vans on the training pad dont count sazook and if you had pull one 4 times to pass, well now your just telling on yourself.

I passed my test first day with a score high enough to garner $25 to use at the company store from Steve Larsen.

As far as pulling the vans, one load was from Richmond to Newark, and the rest were all in between Newark and Fort Worth. I'm sure you can probably gather the customer they are dedicated to from that bit of info.

I've actually seen a driver leave through outbound at prime with one of those DV### trailers she said her dispatcher told her to take it .

I wouldn't do flatbed with Prime if you don't plan on staying very long. You will be buying your equipment and then to turn around and sell it back to prime would be like taking it to a pawn shop. You'd be throwing away too much money.

I would Put in a year with Prime pulling reefer in a LW truck then head over to TMC. A year will go by fast. :)

I pulled a dry van load from Vineland NJ to Bensalem PA this year. A favor to the client.

the dv trailers you are referring to are roller deck dry vans dedicated for fed ex to haul the containers they use in their planes so yes we do have a few dry vans hauled them myself. I had to go back inside the first one I picked up because I looked down the row and didn't see any reefers

There is at least one of them that is wood decked. The load I pulled from Richmond to Newark was floor loaded, all the others were roller decks.

Edit: I should say there WAS at least one that is wood decked. I pulled that load coming off of one of my first hometimes, so it would have been early 2007, it may be gone by now.
