    1) Does prime pay weekly, and is it direct deposit?

    2) For refrigerated, the recruiter is saying 98% no touch freight, but how much is drop and hook?

    3) How does the 401k company match work?

    mje Thanks this.

    1. Yes & your choice

    2. Experience is even higher. They take care of lumpers, unless you want to unload those. Not very much $ for that, though. Floral loads have been only loads requiring unload, and you are paid. Can't really say as far as drop & hook, as it will always vary with loads. Have had weeks with none, yet weeks with nearly all. Fair amount drop & hook, I guess.

    3. After 1st year employment, matches dollar for dollar up to 3% of income. Matches .50 for every dollar up to next 2%. Considered vested right from start & portable...no penalty as far as Prime's end if you leave.

    1) Direct deposit is both the SAFEST way along with the most convenient way of depositing your paycheck.
Don't worry if you are getting paid daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. What matters is that you are getting paid all the money that you are supposed to be receiving.

    2) If you do unload, look at it as exercise for your health, not so much for earning extra money.

    3) Take FULL advantage of the company's 401(K) plan. If you retire from the company, it will be an excellent supplement to your social security and other retirement income.

    Good luck to you!

    hal380 and youngclarkh Thank this.
