I'll be in Springfield next week to upgrade after some home time this weekend. I have to say that I was very fortunate with my trainer and that the experience has been a positive one. To anyone considering getting into trucking, I wholeheartedly recommend coming through Prime to get your start. I'm going to be keeping myself where I belong, south of the Mason-Dixon Line as I have gotten myself assigned to the SE Regional (112) Walmart account out of the Shelbyville, TN DC. Looking forward to getting started as a solo driver.

Congrats on getting yourself something that will get you home more often.
Know that was the hardest part for you. This should be a good fit.
Ya' done good & we are lucky to have you!
Best out to you, the better half, & the yung uns.hal380 and Chucktshoes Thank this. -
I am hoping this account will be a good fit and am very happy about the opportunity for more frequent home time. I don't know if the wife is though, she seems to have acclimated to me being gone almost too well.
Looking forward to seeing y'all out there on the road.hal380 Thanks this. -
Congrats. I hope to upgrade in 2 weeks. Almost enough miles.

Charlami Thanks this. -
Congrats.
Theres a SE regional for Reefer? If you (or anyone else) don't mind, can you share some details? I live in the SE and right now home time is a PITA.. I would almost consider switching to reefer if I could get home a lot more often.. -

...let's just say, "We'll see." I've been here long enough to see these things come 'n go. Ever hear of the "Lancaster PA Terminal?" Thought not. Your "SE Regional Reefer Division" might last about as long. That was about 3
weeks, and I was actually there. The Western Regional Reefer Division is a thing of the past too. Bet most of y'all have never seen "CHD Regional" painted on the side of a Prime truck. Or RTC Division. All defunct.
Then there's The Denver CO Terminal... gonna be a mini-Millenium Building they said. Double wide to triple wide.
How'd that "limited, voluntary, regional-only with more home time lightweight program" work out for you company guys? Thought so.
