Any advantage to applying in person?I live somewhat near a Prime center

    As the topic says ,will applying in person help my chances of landing a job with Prime Inc.? My past is sketchy so I need every advantage I can get .

    You can try but it really depends just how sketchy your past is.See applications goes thru safety then their insurance.What you might wanna try is talking to safety rather then the recruiter.

    Hi Kevin, absolutely. I heard some of these big companies are so flooded with applications, they don't even read them. One place, not sure if it was a trucking outfit, said they received over 200 e-mails for a job opening, and didn't read any of them. I've always had better luck showing up in person, although, years ago, there was no such thing as on-line applications, so it was the only way. Good luck.

    I went in person to springfield. Talked to my recruiter. He told be what to do online. Lil better than two weeks later I was in orientation.

    Now I've been with the company two years and I just had my first student driver pass his CDL test yesterday
