Over last year, been everywhere in lower 48, I mean EVERYWHERE.

Have not crossed either border once.

I have met guys that have run into both, but I believe it is rare. Someone w/more time will be sure to chime in.

From what I gather, it sounds like most times we have relays that will meet you at the borders when something crosses. But, still have to have that passport in case. I do know in the case of flowers, we have guys on Canadian side that run dedicated on that side. There may be dedicated or regional routes where that comes more into play.

Again, have not been in that situation in a whole year. But, have been up against both borders nearly everywhere.

 

On a side note.

I was posting to you while unloading, then while loading at next shipper, both on Mexican border.

At shipper, I was early and order/load had not arrived yet.

Turned out to be blueberries from Mexico. Truck arrived & we took adjoining docks. He was offloaded & loaded straight into mine through the cold storage warehouse.

Not Canada, but just a border experience for ya.

Well since I do not have a passport I never go up there lol, however a trainer friend of mine goes up the a lot.

 

I usually go at least once a month if not more. Pays well to go there though. Farthest I have been up is to Calgary

 

Few times a year. Over a year ago I had a time where I spent close to a month running between Laredo, TX and Toronto, Canada... Just back n fourth. I got burned out on that really quick.
