I posted some team driving numbers a while back, the net is my paycheck, the trainee pay comes out of the gross...
10/17
Miles 5,090
Gross $ 8,839
Net $ 3,948
10/10
Miles 6,081
Gross $ 9,818
Net $ 3,962
10/3
Miles 5,213
Gross $ 7,644
Net $ 2,532
I had my best week running solo last pay day. A thousand mile drop and hook that paid close to four dollars a mile, and four more short loads. Grossed 6,900 dollars, with a net of 4,100 dollars. Next week I'll probably do a thousand net, but who knows. Haters can keep on hating, and I hope they do. They will eventually try to ruin a good thing and hire on with prime. Keep up the good work, while I sit back and smile.......

I was at $1.85/mile, all dispatched miles. We use HHG miles so that's probably a bit high when all practical miles are considered. Kept 65.5-cpm net profit before taxes, and spent 14.7-cpm in maintenance. A lot of that was preventative, replacing things that were on the way out before I had a breakdown.
Keep in mind that I'm not leasing a tractor, but am in the final months of a purchase contract. My fixed expenses are about 30% lower than the guy running a new lease truck on a 3-year lease.Dinomite Thanks this. -
