I'm looking at leasing an International Pro Star lightweight and was hoping to see some suggestions for maximizing space. Whoever did the page on Trucking Truth about the mini Freightliner offers some great ideas, but I'm looking for some specific suggestions for the Pro Star. I have an electric cooler and will be removing the passenger seat. I also need to mount a TV and add some clothing storage. Thanks for any idea and photos!

For a tv go to the detail shop in Springmo. The tv mount sold in the company store is great, it's better than any you'll buy at a truckstop or retail stores.
My prostar had a "decorative " thing on the back wall which was great for hanging shirts ( button up type) from.
Odly enough the baby prostar has insane cabinet and cubby space compared to the baby freight.chi-town joe Thanks this. -
For some reason, the New DEF equipped baby prostars are pig heavy according to my buddy who is in one now. He says he can only scale around 44,000lbs legally SOLO...we can scale 45,500 in a condo freightliner with 2 people when loaded properly - he is not a heavy guy either.
Might want to be very careful about the "lightweight" loads they will try to give you, especially from Reed City, MI. Scale it.
According to the sprimo detail shop, the seats they put in there are extraordinary heavy; somewhere around 140lbs or so. Ditch the passenger seat asap; the tractor shop won't do it so go to detail shop to get it done.
Also, check under bunk where the hoses & pipes come into cab from APU, they forgot to silicon a quarter size hole in my floor when I got my FL lightweight, could have got all manner of carbon monoxide gas &/or bugs flooding straight into sleeper.
The good thing is that my buddy gets 8.5mpg on a bad day & he hammers it at the 62mph limiter wherever he goes.chi-town joe Thanks this. -
Who in their right mind runs two people in a lightweight ?

Good info. Shouldn't have to worry about Reed City - looking at doing dedicated tanker run out of Decatur, IN which requires lightweight lease trucks. As for the seats, if I were to remove the passenger seat, what do folks do when a child or spouse wants to ride along for a week? Is there a way to re-install it for a short time? Anyone know how much they charge for the TV mount? Installation?
