Doe's Prime run manual or auto transmissions ?

We (H&W) are looking for a starter company (hires students) to team with that will have us driving/learning a manual tranny and will allow us our small dog .. Thanks

only found 2 so far: Covenant,Celadon

Anyone that knows of more or has any HELPFUL info for us would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

Covenant pays good right off the bat ?

Cretes newer trucks have inverters. They have 10 speeds.

DeerHunter, though USX is going to an all automatic fleet, they still have a bunch of 10 speed Cascadias.

Yes BUT they train teams together not so hot on that idea myself,my wife on the other hand kinda likes the idea
also every time you get a new/another truck you have to pay a $500 non-refundable pet deposit..

The pay isn't to bad, I think your about right I think she said .50 a mile

    freightwipper Thanks this.

If you're a driver if 3 years driving experience and go to Celadon for an OTR job they'll pay you a whopping .34! Need I say anymore?
That info is right on their site.

    very LOW paying company!

teams are OKAY I believe .48 after a year experience

Last I head it was a $1000 deposit to bring a pet for company drivers at Prime. I don't think you need it up front. They spec the trucks with a manual 10spd.
