Got into Springfield and was able to test this am. Had to do a complete pre-trip and the left parrallell park along with the standard straight back and offset. I passed all that but got dinged on the road test and will retake it in the am. I turned left with what I perceived to be plenty of time to clear before oncoming traffic....Jim didn't see it that way....lol. Myself and one other person were the only ones to pass the backing this am with one guy failing for the third time this am. All in all I am pleased and hope to knock out the road test in the am and get to DMV by 1230 when they close. There is still a large percentage of fails but Prime is looking at ways to improve that. Will update later.

Charlie

I'm in the June 30th Class, driving down from NH on the 28/29. So glad I am done with retail this Friday. I look forward to my new career and hopefully meeting some of you out in Springfield or on the road. Anyone else arriving on June 30th?

I guess it took about 4-5 weeks to get to this point. I don't do Greyhound and Amtrak don't do SW MO so I'll be driving down.
Funny thing. I get a new laptop to take on the road and apparently the desktop got jealous. Crapped out the day the new one arrived. Serendipity?
Mom's sure gonna be disappointed if I don't get it up and running!

I'll be driving as well out of Rootstown,Ohio myself so i got a bit of a drive to come down, Only thing i dont like thus far is the fact of having to leave my personal vehicle there at Springfield while im gone all the 4+months ill be away on training over the road & such. And I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna get my vehicle back to ohio after training is thru & what not, then get back to my own prime truck.....That is if prime decides to offer me a job & keep me. I guess it will all be figured out as time goes on.
