well it's as i thought.. i called the recruiter today and told them how and why i got terminated at cr england for failure to turn in TWO log sheets and they said they cannot hire anyone that's been terminated from their last driving job... this is very upsetting, england's contract when i signed it said that if a student was having issues with logs, that they were to go thru retraining and that never happened.. they fired me on the spot and now i cant do what i love most, a large car down a lonely road.. i dont know what to do now..

 

So sorry to hear Fatguy33, i hear ya ive put in ton of tiime between studying, taking test researching different companies even going to gym just to drop cpl lbs and do cardio. Wish you the best and ive read so many bad things about C.R. England im staying awayfrom them.

 

There are other companies out there hiring now. Take a look around, you have your CDL so you have a good shot at getting on at another company. Good luck

 

There are lots of small local outfits looking for drivers. They may not be sterling, but a year of driving experience is what you're looking for.

 

Is it Possible to bring Home 800 Dollars a week, working for Prime?

 

I averaged about $800 per week in my second and third years on the company side. It will depend on how much you keep your left door shut, your on-time performance, your relationship with your FM, the economy, etc.

 

Yeah, I do it almost weekly, not hard to do, just keep the door shut and drive.

 

If I go to Springfield for Orientation. Where will I stay and are meals Provided?

 

I am diabetic and take pills, do they check your A1c or do they do a finger stick?

 

At the Campus Inn. You're basic meals and board are provided for. It does help if you have access to some cash for extra items.

The doctor may ask what your A1C was, but they will check your blood sugar with s finger stick. I believe it needs to be under 200 mg/dL...
