Jim and Slowmo,

I am in the same place as you two. I managed a warehouse (and did some customer service) for 12 years, and then have been an owner/partner in a company for the past two years... I have always thought that I would like to drive, and (with our company not taking off as we had hoped) now it seems like the perfect time to go for it.

I am really excited to make the jump.

I'll be watching for your posts SloMo. I'm a wannabe and I am considering, just considering the company paid training route.
Good luck to you,

Hey SloMo,
Thanks for the update. You've probably seen the recent thread questioning the validity of the BMI.
I, for one, am a perfect example of how the BMI can be misleading. My index is about 25 which would pass me with flying colors. However, I haven't seen the inside of a gym for years. I just happen to to be a height and weight that results in a decent score on this ambiguous index.
What does it tell us about muscle tone, % body fat, agility, hand-eye coordination, etc. Nothing!
I sincerely hope you are allowed to continue your program. Good luck in whatever you do and please stay in touch!

ya quit Prime because you couldnt be bothered to slow down a bit and maintain the required MPG minnimum... you "couldnt stay awake driving 55"

Got hired with Wiley Sanders... something about .33 cents but could make up that lost cent with a 70-72mph truck... not sure how that worked out for ya.

Then it was Marten... that didnt work out.

Guess FFE didnt work out either... $300 paychecks and they stiffed you on your last one, huh? You were bragging about your 09 truck, and taking potato loads that Prime supposedly couldnt handle...

Keep jumping jobs. 24 years old, 4 driving jobs (that we know of) and CDL for less than 3 years... Your resume and reliability are going to standout in this economy (sarcasm)
