Not sure about dedicated or regional,, never got around to asking and did not hear anything about either. Youll get to see dad more often than you'd want probably. But 45 minutes away from 30 could make it a hard "swingbythehouse" during trips. They are pretty lenient on out of route miles, but only up to 10% of the mileage for each trip. I live 15 minutes off I35 so anything to Laredo would be easy for me. Wish it worked with them. My overall experience was positive but the overriding factor - 4 months in a truck with someone else @ 300 a week, not going to do it.

Also like at most companies, at PTL I have a strong suspicion that where you live is where you never will see.

There is freigh out of Pine Bluff though. Think anything coming from there runs to Michigan. From Michigan or Wisconsin, good chance for Laredo run. Laredo runs are good because anything coming from Laredo is healthy mileage. Could even get a few Lar to Wisc to Lar to Wisc in a row.

Look for Slim or Butch (both are trainers) on Wednesday morning during orientation break. Youll see trainers showing up Tuesday night and throughout the morning Wednesday and if Butch or Slim are there, grab em and say please. Both excellent guys. Stay away from the trainer who has green bay stuff on his truck - not a friendly human being and not a good guy.

Gotta love it when the company throws that "...but you went home" crapola at you.

Yeah....for four whole hours. First time they throw that my way, seez ya. Hope you do well in your next gig. Sorry you went through this.

What I want to know is how are things for teams who have experience and do not reauire traning? How are the miles and also how much is the pet deposit? Thanks for honest answers only. Not to be rude I am not interested in anything but the truth. I do not know any of you personally to make judgement and as far as I know you who talk bad about a company could just be a disgruntled driver. So please just stick to the facts. Thanks again and good luck to all of you, be safe!!!.

I will say I am asking my questions because I have no experience with PTL as a company driver. I did pull for them as an O/P but the guy's truck I drove was always in the shop so that made things not so good. Other than that, I felt PTL was a great company with the undersatnding that all companies have an issues here and there and my point of view with PTL is only from an O/P experience. Thanks again

Ptl i really dont have any thing good to say about PTL . I just thru a lease purchase deal with them & Quality sales .IM not go n too b long .Quality said if thing didnt go well with PTL i could take it too another company.20 days latter 19 days on the road with 3 loads ,yes 3 loads latter im back at home AL.I went from IN to FWT to MN back to laredo,Tx & made 460. After talk n too other drivers they come n from all over the US we o/o & company drivers.Thats mathematically impossable .most of them had just had home time 1 day on the 4th this was the 27th of july 2013.The drivers said if they went home they were taken out the LOOP.I for got they cut my card off with me a day early, then they said i had logs missing 16-17 .I turned them n while i was at Murry,KY while i was n class.W/T.After # days 107 heat n 100 after 9 oclock. I called a flat bed company took the drug test n haeded to dallas. (PTL) took me out of service 4 the logs n did not call me n tell me anything,so new job i come.Qualty would not send my 2290 so i could not put the truck on with the flat bed company.Q/S want to put the truck on with some other companies the get a kick back on they pay off a truck a week.129 x 3000= 3800 f/sover 4000 - 1200 fuel -ex they keep 1500-2000 x 20 n class n the federal kick back foe class go figure ,30,000 a week ever wk.I talk to Chris at Q/S n after the back n forth he did not care if i had a way to pay for the he only wanted another one of the companies they r n bed with to keep me ouy kill my warranty n my truck n me running crazy over the US with no pay .Lets get to gether & sue PTL & Q/S like they did BOYD BROTHERS ,so you know they will try n put some thing on our DAC report,Lets stand togetherO/O because they r try n (BIG COMPANIES)to do away with us and give us 15 , a mile. That what PTL par its co-drivers thats under min wage. Please tets fight back.

THIS GUY IS ABSOLUTELY TELLING THE TRUTH, I JUST PARTED WITH pASCHALL. ALTHOUGH THE INFO WAS ACCURATE THE POST WAS SO LONG NOT SURE IF HE COVERED THAT IF YOU COMPLETE PHASE 1 & 2 AND BECOME SOLO DRIVER U SIGNED A CONTRACT THAT U CANNOT LEAVE FOR ANOTHER 100,000 MILES OR U WOULD OWE LIKE $1500-$2000 NOT TO MENTION THEY PRIDE THEIR SOLO PAY OF .33CPM BUT DONT TELL U IT'S .30CPM WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI UNTIL UR IN ORIENTATION. U GET COPIES OF ALL THE PAPERS YOU SIGN EXCEPT THOSE CONTRACTS...(HMMM... I WONDER WHY) 30 NEW HIRES EVERY 2 ORIENTATIONS BUT DONT HAVE TRUCKS FOR THE 1ST 30 NEW HIRES. STAY AWAY FROM PASCHALL DONT IGNORE THIS FORUM LIKE I DID, (and I was wondering why all the drivers in the lounges and truck stop had only been there 5, 6, 9 months) hmmm.... I wonder why. the complete training is 6 mos. team driving with a bow on it. people stay clear unless u have no other options
