My experience with PTL after leaving the nightmare of Frozen Food Express (FFE) 1[SUP]st[/SUP] of all the motel PTL uses to house there drivers was a nightmare. 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] of all when I was assigned my truck I had to ride in a company van from Murray Kentucky to their West Memphis Arkansas terminal witch I was compensated $75.00 for the van ride. The truck was to be cleaned and ready to go. Needless to say the inside of the truck was so nasty. The West Memphis terminal failed to detail the inside. Otherwise for a 2011 Freightliner the #### thing runs great! PTL had other drivers that were paid over $300.00 plus a $150.00 cleaning fee to pick up their trucks outside any of PTL'S terminals. PTL was great to route me home on my 1[SUP]st[/SUP] load. PTL'S communication has been fantastic so far over the phone and there electronic messaging system. The best thing was PTL started me out with 33.5cpm for runs east of the Mississippi river where west of the Mississippi river all runs are paid only 33cpm for company drivers. Really not sure at this time why it's like that. Any replies would be helpful. FFE only paid 29.cpm for a driver with less than 6 months verifiable experience. But my over all experience has been good so far with PTL except the motel. Now let's see how my miles average per week and how good payroll is.

^ Today is about to be Day 2 of orientation with my new company. Hotel much better than PTLs but PTL offered better food. But as I said, ask the lady at the desk to show you pictures of what drivers there have done to rooms and you'll understand why PTL cant get a "better" hotel for their drivers in town.

Hope things work out with both of y'all at PTL, a different point or two and I'd still be there.

Getting good miles running the se and swest a lot. Treated very good and no complaints after 3 weeks. Very steady runs getting 400mi almost everyday and going to a lot of the same places...

Yea.. So far so good.. I did 3200 miles last week with my trainer.. I'm at home now and will be going out for part 2 in a few days.. They told me to stay home as long as I won't and come back when I'm ready to go.. Lol.. So, ill be here about 3-4 days then back out.. I'm liking it so far tho..

Update: My 1st 4 weeks with PTL has been great after leaving the nightmare of FFE (Frozen Food Express.) Over 10,000 miles in my 1[SUP]st[/SUP]4 weeks with PTL. The dispatchers and all PTL's Staff have been super. Now the down side? PTL's maintenance shop in West Memphis Arkansas is a joke! Remember it,s your CSA score. Cover your ### when it comes to a company truck. As for the rest of the company? It's been great! except the motel they use for company drivers.

Well things were great with ptl rollin but what happened today probably has me turning truck in tomorrow. My home burned down today and I got the call from fire dept and I was 42 miles away. I called my dispatch and out of way left centerfield she called me a liar and said I was close to home on a load and just wanting to go home! Wtf??? It stunned me but I had her call our local fire dept and verify which still made me upset like why the heck would I make that up! Well she said just keep rolling for a little bit and I will swap you so I did what was asked even though I was minutes from home and I finally stopped after 200 miles and no swap and said umm o.k I'm not going any farther hey remember my darn home caught on fire and I kept checking in all day so you either swap me in morning or I'm turning truck in somewhere close and going home to pick up what is left of my home and moving into storage. She came back with a run the load another 200 miles and we get u home late tomorrow night! I was stunned guys I was right off interstate from my home. Well I said no I'm staying here bout 250 miles from home so I can make it tomorrow by way of swap or turning truck in and getting ride home. I will have there answer in morning. It is pathetic to be a called a liar over something so serious and to have someone be so incredibly unexpectedly rude and cruel shocked me today guys, I'm at a loss for this behavior it was totally unexpected???
