Heading to orientation monday. I live 'bout an hour from the terminal, so I'm just going to drive it. There is available parking for drivers personal vehicles, yes? I'd hate the hassle of having to get dropped off and picked up. I'd rather leave the truck there if I ever get around to taking hometime eventually.
Current or former drivers, a quick question.

I have yet to find a company that doesn't have parking for drivers.
-
Every company I've worked for has had some kind of parking for drivers. Some secure and some not so secure but parking none the less.
-
Every company has some type of parking for their drivers, Like stated it may not be the safest but it is parking, just don't leave anything in the vehicle that will make it irresistible to a coke head! Or anyone needing a quick buck.

we don't have ANY room for drivers.
we also only have ONE MAIN locatrion. and no terminals. we live all over the country. it's up to us to find parking at home.
only drivers that take their car to the office. would be the local boys that live there. but it's not exactly a secured parking area. and the gate gets locked. so they probably don't drive their cars. as there's no place to park the truck.
i can think of some others also. so, i wouldn't say EVERY company. maybe company driver companies. but not every company. -
Just look for what appears to be a,
U-Pull-it-Parts yard.
that will be the drivers lot........ -
