who can tell me about ptl? no negative remarks please.

How can anyone tell you about them honestly if no negative comments allowed.

 

LOL...In fact, I am looking at Ozark again, too. I haven't driven since 2007 and had to let my CDL expire. My medical was due a couple of months after shoulder surgery and I couldn't pass the DOT PHYS.

 

I hear u and your right just wanted to make sure people knew that sharp is a bad company and didn't want anyone making the mistake I did working there

 

Do you mean sharp out of tennessee?

I have never spoken with anyone who has driven for them...they use to not pay very well..but times are changing and companies are having to up their pay scale to get good drivers.

 

Yup they have a terminal out there too and pay is not well u will work more hrs for less pay ill give u an example u have to call in everyday even on your off day to see if they need u the time u call in is 9 am then u either start at 1030 or 1200 am u wont get home till 1 or 2am in the moring if all goes well then u got workers in the warehouse who don't wrap the pallets right so when u get to your store and a pallet falls u got to pick it up and wrap it and that takes 1hr and 30 mins so now u lost time and money cause u don't get paid for having to fix a pallet and if u don't fill out a tire sheet and u get a flat tire u have to pay for the tire

 

South east is nothing like that...

Ill put it too u like this the place is a joke and I wouldn't recommend my enemy to that company if u get hurt there or sick there are no sick or personal days off there so bottom line never work locally for a company that doesn't have it

 

I use to live in Jackson, know of some local companies that are hiring right now if you are interested in local.
