They last as long as the license does unless the license says otherwise. Renew them with the license.
-
You will have to take the haz-mat test at every renewal if you get that endorsement.
-
-
Employers are required to give additional hazmat training that has to be renewed every 3 years . -
does that go for tankers and doubles as well?
-
There is no background check for tankers and doubles.
Tankers and doubles last as long as the license.
And i have my XT endorsements (tankers, haz, doubles) and i dont know if you already took the tests, but....the only one to worry about is hazmat. thats a little bit hard. but tankers, doubles are all obvious questions.
i had one question on my doubles test..."if you are hookin up a set of triples, should the drain valve on the back trailer be open or closed?"
...DRAIN VALVE. come on. all drains are always closed unless youre DRAINING the tanks.... -
i have all three, just wondering how long they last
-
All endorsements have to be taken (tested) each time you renew your license. Tanker, doubles, bus and the air test if your states have that as a separate class (like IL). But they do have to be taken again. You don't think the states will give up that $25 a test do you? Those endorsements aren't there forever like the M for motorcycle is which you don't have to re test for.
The Haz-Mat has to be re-verified with the back ground check and costs a bundle unless they dropped that stupid cost down some! Just be thankful they extended the CDL's for 5 - 7 years instead of the usual 3 years!
Unless this was a trick question then I'll put it this way. When your license expires everything on it expires with it! ROFL! -
