That is one thing I hated about having a decent looking truck. That last long nose pete I had was a magnet for people thinking I would pay them to rub on it. Even when I was with maverick some fool always wanted to know if I wanted my wheels polished. I don't own it. I sure ain't paying up keep on it. Well; I did pay for wax a few times. Was only a couple bucks. The last co I was with I could go to any streaking beacon and a few others and have anything done I wanted. They had an open account.

Only have had an LL knock twice. Usually as soon as the brakes are set the curtains get pulled.

One of these times it was like 3:30 in the morning. She knocked like 3 or 4 times before I went to the window to get rid of her.

    ME: WHAT!
    LL: Want a date?
ME: A date....you woke me up for this.
LL: Sorry.....So you want a date?
ME: the only date thats going to be important is the murder trial date.

I've had a few knocks, one might have been worth it a few years back, stopped at a RA on I-45 N. of Huntsville, Tx. Really cute looking blonde, looked to be early 20's knocks on the door, say she needs to make $50.00 or her ol' man is going to beat her. I tell her I'm sorry, don't have any money. She starts to cry and walks away. I see her get in a newish Ford pickup, the guy said something to her then they drove off. For grins, I got the plate as the went by and called the cops, doubt anything happened about it.

Ok guys, I seem to have the opposite problem, I've got the truckers knocking on my door asking if I "need some company".....WTF makes these guys think I want them knocking on my truck in the first place. It's not even safe for me to park to far away from the building. Again I say WTF???

When somebody asks you how long you have been driving, always answer by asking "what time is it now?"

To aboid the LL, just put a wet wipe on your step before going to be.. To avoid the panhandlers, when they come asking for money. Offer them food, and watch them walk away...

I've only called the law over a lot lizard once. I was in PA, I81, exit 77, just north of Harrisburg. I couldn't find a spot at the Ta or the Wilco, so I ended up on the back row at the Gables' truck stop. These two gals pull up in a car, outfitted with a CB, and start working the parking lot. The girl in the passenger seat is the one going from truck to truck, the older woman driving is lining up her dates. Well, I'm a pretty much live and let live type of guy, I don't get involved in other people's business. But this girl walked past my truck on her way to one of her dates, and I got a good look at her. She was no more than 11 or 12 years old. I can't deal with that. I snatched up the cell phone, called 911. The dispatcher seemed to know exactly who it was when I described them, and they said they'd send someone out. I then pulled the curtains and went to bed.
