I am new to trucking, I probably can't get a OTR job untill 4 years from now because of my criminal record but how do you get paid?

do you need to write down the p.o. box number from the invoice every load you get ?
, i'm confused and I am curious how easy it is to not get paid for a load!!

I get paid for all my loads.
My company uses a scanning company.
I bring all my bills of lading and a cover sheet that I have filled out for the load, into the truck stop. They scan the papers and my company receives them.
I get paid the following week.
If you notice a load missing when you get your pay stub, then you call the company and give them the scan code for that load to help them find it. I then get paid for that load later that day.

    mistakebythelake Thanks this.

Also some companies use Tripak, which is like UPS. The driver sends in their paperwork and they get paid the following week. Most company drivers get paid by the load miles.
