Does anyone know if I am disqualified for getting a cdl if my license was suspended? I read there needed to be 2 years of clean record and I have a speeding ticket from 2009 and my license was suspended from not paying surcharges (my own #### fault). I had it reinstated but does my record have to be clean and clear for two years before I can get a cdl?

Getting the CDL is easy getting a job now that is a different story!!

So I should still be able to get my cdl with one speeding ticket and previous license suspension?

I have a question about something I discovered just today. I recieved a license from the state of PA on June of 2009. Apparently NJ was still trying to charge me surcharges on my NJ license and then suspended it AFTER I recieved my PA license. I just reinstated my NJ driving privelages today.
So my PA drivers license, which I recieved after the fact, has a clean record. For NJ, they suspended my driving privelages, but not my driver's license. So basically that means my NJ license wasn't suspended, but my privelages were. Is that a "suspension"? Am I SOL?
