I live in Indianapolis, IN and at the current point in time I do not have a trucking job. I need a physical but I don't have insurance and was wondering if anyone knows the average cost. If you got yours in Indianapolis, IN and know of a place that can do one please let me know. I appreciate the help.

Not from Indy but Kansas. Just paid 86 bucks for mine. My insurance wouldn't cover it. I work for the county presently and they won't pay for it, as it's not a requirement.

Some community health clinics will perform them.

You can get the forms online, and print them out.

Every job , at least everyone that I have applied for, will require a new DOT physical from a physician or clinic of their choosing , and usually on a form specific to them. There is no cost to the driver.

Perhaps there is only 1 set of real forms to use.

There IS a cost to drivers, at times.............

Lets give answers that are kinda close !!!

Some chiropractors do them for 30 bucks or so. Some clinics will charge 40 and up. Around here some docs charge 140 bucks. Call around. Get the cheapest. When you go to a co they will make you take one of theirs (most likely) unless they are a small outfit. The co will pay for it unless you bail then they will take it out of your last check.

To the concerned poster, I came across this conversation while looking for info on the medical examiner certification process. I am a local Indianapolis Chiropractor and we are charging $70. Send me a reply if you want any information. Hope this helps and best wishes.

I have yet to work for a company and have to pay for it.

As a lease owner, I pay for it.

So, I think your answer is not even kinda close.
