You should not be offended with the Prison remark; some of this country's best and brightest politicians and financial wizards are doing time!

 

When my son was born I took the first two years to spend with kids. You want to bust my balls for it step up, just have pillows on the ground behind you.

If you have kids they should become the most important thing to you to make sure they are raised properly, Any one that would have a problem with that (well I'm going to leave comment out to save the sensor time from deleting it anyway). If a company has a problem with that they can contact my attorney. Maternity leaves are totally legal for either party to take. I was able to run most of my business from the house. My wife was there also but this is a real important time in child development.

If you can afford it or figure out how to make it work, it is worth the aggravation a million times over, And the last thing I would worry about is some (well I'm going to leave comment out to save the sensor time from deleting it anyway) giving me a hard time over it.

There is nothing or nobody more important to me than my wife and kids, and anyone who does not feel that way can piss off.

 

Unfortunately, your correct that is exactly what our employers will assume. Sad but I have been grilled over lapse's in work history.
