I am hopfully going to start cdl school in the next few weeks. i am looking for a good company that gets decent miles, and decent hometime. I would like to find some that mainly stick to the midwest area..what is out there besides all the big names? Im looking at TMC, ROEHL, BOYD BROS and some here in Indiana..thanks guys..

The ones you named go everywhere. Ask them where they go before you sign up or get on a midwest regional deal....that's the only way to know and in the case they don't have a mind-reader on staff, it helps if they know what you want.

Not sure how close you need to be but carter express in anderson is not all that bad a co. The miles are there they stay mostly in the midwest. But they do go to texas alot. Should be home couple days a week a week if not most weekends.

I live in Kokomo..What do you know about their CDL training program? I am looking at their website and cant really find out information on it, just that they a company sponsored program..Thanks.. -
MCT has several fleets in the midwest. Some do their own training too.

dont know alot on there training. if you want to see you can call kelly at 800-960-6656. i know they used to pay you back for your training they use a cdl school out of indy. and i also have a few friends who got there cdl from ivy tech or sage i think.

thanks, called and talked to kelly. they dont offer a school but do take recent grads. she is mailing a application out to me. so im hoping to get started with a school and they will be my number one choice..
