What's the word for a group of trucks following eachother

    Hi,

    There's a word I'm trying to remember, the definition would be a large group of semi trucks following eachother closely / side-by-side on the highway. Anyone know the word I'm trying to think of?

    Well, they use to be convoys, but those are illegal so they are now called parades!

    that's probably the most dangerous time is when you see more than 2 trucks driving for the same company, following each other. check out there following distance. scary. :biggrin_25513:

    If they are side by side they are impeding traffic which is illegal.

    Convoys were made illegal back in my dad's day (70's if memory serves me correctly, but don't quote me on that). He took part in a few of them himself before they were illegal. If you google it, there are a whole list of sources of info on it. I'll let you pick which one to read.
