Recommendations for seat cushions?

It is a lumbar support device. I bought it in a truck stop in the 1990s. I never pay more than $15 for anything. I sold it in a garage sale after I retired in 2008.

 

I use the mesh back support too, but I use it for my back. Keeps you nice and cool.

 

yes all truckers will get back pain, after a few years you will find it hard to do anything. Even the best cushions and seats will not prevent your back pain from being jarred around all day. My back hurts so bad Lupe!!!!!!

 

I retired after 41 years, without back pain. Now, I use a lumbar support cushion on my couch. Whatever seat is installed in a truck, the driver must improve the fore/aft isolator function. I never found a factory seat that truly floated back and forth. Many drivers feel they do not have adequate control if the seat is not bolted, but that is bad for the upper back and neck.

Too many drivers sit up straight as though in a kitchen chair. I recommend tilting the seat back. Let the seat support the weight of your upper back rather than leaning forward onto your chest and belly. Relax. Let the truck drive itself. You are just along for the ride.

 

I am heading to an orthopedic doctor this week for my knee pain that is getting worse. I work construction and just spent 9 months on a very rough job. It sure seems to have taken its toll on my "hinges"!! OUCH!!
