I am trying to get into trucking school. Through a company sponsored program. Is two personal injury to property charges and an open container ticket gonna affect me getting in? All of them were less then 5 years ago.

Obtaining DAC Report
I don't have any tickets, warrants, DUIs, etc on my license. However, I did a stint at Werner for a couple months before moving on to greener pastures. I am now about to change companies to be home more often, but I'm worried about what Werner may have put on my DAC (from what I've heard Werner doing to many drivers that have left). How can I request a copy of my DAC to see what is on there?

Hoping someone can give me some advise. I'm about to be enrolled for Stevens transport school. They ran my drivers license from Pennsylvania and newyork which I know they are good... but I do have parking tickets...but can't afford to lay them just yet.....my question is am I still able to be hired with them?

I would guess they're more worried about moving violations than parking tickets.

I am a recent truck school graduate and I am reading the site for a good while. Thanks for all the information you are putting in, it saved me from many mistakes.
I have a question about my situation. I had 2 speeding tickets on my personal car, before I complete my CDL. Last one I got was given as Class A CDL although I only had permit. And I Learned that I will be treated as CDL license holder at the time of the court for the previous ticket although I was Class C license holder at the time of incident. Court time for both will be long after today and I cannot afford to wait till they are resolved. Should I write I have 2 tickets on my applications ( they might be dismissed ) or can I write none since they are pending and the police told they will be in my record after the court finalized. And if anyone knows what is the policy on schneider? on these? thanks for any help.

If we saved just one we've done our job!

Technically it's not a conviction until your court date. I would follow the application and what the question asks by how it's worded. If it asks for violations I would list it and maybe put (pending court date) beside it. If it ask for convictions I would omit it. Each year your company will give you a form to fill out asking for convictions from the previous year. You could update then.I have a question about my situation. I would hope to avoid disclosing it if you can because they might frown on 2 tickets for a new hire, but usually 3 is the cutoff. Then again you want to be honest without volunteering info.

Thanks for your advice. If I started to read this part of the forum earlier, probably I would not get my tickets either. They are my only tickets in last 7-8 years and I got them in last 4 months. Should have been careful and should have took care of the first one before permit, had I known I will be treated as Class A. The wording is exactly: "How many tickets you have in last 3 years?" , so should I take it as any? or finalized?. I asked two recruiters, both of them told me take care of them than apply, when I asked again to one of them mentioning I cannot wait till the court is over, he told me don't be self-revealing. So, if I wrote 'none' , and if it comes out, will they listen to me when I say: "since they are pending I did not disclose" or will they think I am lying?. And actually I am not lying, they are pending.
