I have been delivering auto parts in a Class E vehicle that is licensed for commercial purposes (Ford Ranger) for about 4 years now. My question is, does my current Class E experience accredit toward having driving experience? I understand there is a difference between Class B and Class E vehicles, so please spare me your comments on how much of an idiot I am for asking a valid question. Thanks for your help.

    no...........

a class B CDL truck would be better experience.

it'll only "help you" if you keep and maintain a crystal clear driving/work record, that's about all.

Sorry, but a Ford Ranger P/U won't help you, however, note on applications that you drive for a living making deliveries around town. Even if it's a small vehicle.

Thank you for your help Allow Me. I couldn't think of a better way to state my question without sounding totally retarded. Obviously I am working toward obtaining my Class B CDL. Although I do understand there IS a difference between a Ford Ranger and a box truck, I just didn't know if ANY experience as a Class E driver was better than having NO driving experience at all.
