I understand what you're saying and I have no problem backing and adjusting in motion, I'm talking about advising a newbie that's having trouble, isn't that what we were talking about?...You're on "step C" and he can't get past "step B" yet...Until you know what the corrections will do, wouldn't it be better to have pissed off people behind him than one really pissed off person with damage to their truck next to him?...With experience I would think everyone gets a little faster...

My advice to a new driver is to react a little faster turning the wheel ....not to zip into a hole right off the bat. Practice with the wheel and practice with your tandems set all the way back and then all the way forward.

Place both hands on the wheel to straight line back. You cant OVERSTEER with both hands on the wheel. You can only make small movements, and thats what ya need.

Amazing how far you can back doubles with both hands on wheel:biggrin_255:
