Third lane is a passing lane on four way stretch. What happened?
Someone wouldn't let you back into 4th lane?

Fight it in court. Just tell the truth. Chances are the cop wont.

Did the cop pull you over and do a L-1?

CSA points are generally "awarded" when there is an inspection involved....and you, your log book...or your vehicle are cited.....

There are no new laws because of CSA.....The DOT is only enforcing the same laws you lived by all along.....

he most likely gave you a "level 3" inspection which is driver inspection.

ALL tickets, INCLUDING warning tickets, go on your file.

I'm confused. Were you stopped? Did you receive an inspection? If so, you say you received a warning? or did you just receive a warning in the mail.

If there was no inspection, it won't go on your CSA.

Not entirely correct... It's very possible and likely that CSA points were "awarded" for the "warning" or non ticket event.

This IS one of the major flaws and downfalls of CSA 2010. Points can be added to the driver and carrier.... With NO possible way to contest them(ie court).

Again, not correct. If a "warning" was issued. It goes on CSA. How do I know? It happened to me.

If there was an inspection completed (you signed it, so you should know) then you have CSA points awarded for the ticket or warning. If you had an inspection, you received a copy of the form - and you needed to send it in to your carrier. No inspection, no CSA points.

You still need an inspection for violations and warnings to go on the CSA....At least that is my understanding according to the weekly discussions on Lockride's show...and Landline Now......

Again...too many drivers here believe that CSA is new enforcement....It is not....The enforcement is the same....CSA is a more efficient reporting standard....nothing more.....
Y'all act like the "Sword of Damocles" has just been unsheathed...

    l:) Thanks this.
