Im 20 (will be 21 on the 10th) im looking for a company school to train and get my cdl at and then go otr. I wanted to go with Prime, But since i work for my father in construction and its under the table... i dont have work history, so they wont take me. Swift was my second choice. I gotta be 23 for them. So thats a no go too. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Millis Transfer, they have there own school.

Or if you can cover your own school Watkins Shepard its who I work for, they do tuition reimbursement as well.

Stevens Transport: Avoid them if at all possible unless you want to pay for school in cash AS IS DONT FINANCE THE SCHOOL THROUGH THEM

Prime has their own school too. Thats why i wanted to go with them. They needed an "Official" work history. I dont have one.

It is a federal law that requires the work history. You must show ten years of past employment. You will need to show a 1099. Also if you have any gaps in employment you will need a letter from someone stating what you did during these times. Hope this helps.
