I think YOU need to go back and see who created this thread... I didn't ask YOU for anything...

If you're referring to me asking him for road maps up to his ivory tower, no thanks... I NEVER want to be the kind of person who tries to fill God's shoes by judging other people... His are BIG shoes to fill, and I don't think I (or anyone else) is up for that challenge...

Not so much looking down as telling it like it is. Most felons/felonists and even felonistas are SCUM. They are a drain on society. (The key word is MOST so please do try to read into that either.)

i know we all want to be nice to everyone. i never said felonists and felonistas in society should not be treated as human beings. But please try to look at things the way they really are. It's easy to say "oh i've changed," and my personal favorite----"i've found the lord." So, just because they say it, it's automatically true? i think if you look at the statistics you'll find it not to be true.

Some felons are scum, but I see no need to put everyone in the same bag. Some people make a mistake and genuinely want to change and turn their lives around. There are some who could have been in the wrong place and the wrong time. I believe that people can change. They must have the desire to turn things around, but they can and do change. We all make mistakes in life. I think every situation needs to be looked at individually.

I suppose, that because YOU say that felons are scum, that makes it true?? YOU were the one who said "PEOPLE DO NOT CHANGE", yet here YOU are, trying to change what YOU said in an earlier post... I guess that people DO, in fact, change, because YOU did...

As I said (and continue to say; nope, no changes here), "When you give a man no options, you leave him no choice."

Please re-read what i wrote again; If statistics prove, and they DO prove that for the most part felonists and felonistas are douchebags and stay douchebags then it means that if i say felons are scum, THEN YES, it does make it true. i'm not trying to "change" anything.

    STATISTICS PROVE THIS.

A real man makes his own options. A scumbag makes excuses.

You're changing, again... "for the most part..." According to what YOU wrote on the preceding page, "PEOPLE DO NOT CHANGE", and that appears to me that your empty statement is ALL INCLUSIVE... So, you are, in fact, back-peddling on statements which YOU made... Trust me, I've read what you wrote, and would not have even responded to it, had I not read such foolishness come from one individual...

Statistics ONLY prove the mindset of what those "statisticians" want to lead YOU to believe about said felons, I'm sorry, I'm not that feeble-minded to believe what someone else TELLS me to believe, if you are, then so be it, admit it and continue on your way with your governmental blinders on... Also, your last comment validates what's been said in this thread more than a few times: for felons, the trucking industry IS a way to get their lives right, but according to YOU (not your skewed stats), they don't deserve that second shot... These "real men" (or women), ARE, in fact, making their options; it's mindsets like yours which actually CONTRIBUTE to recidivism in this country... The fault of your "stats" lies SOLELY with "people" who think the way you do... (I'll give you a second to Google what recidivism means...)

I say, again, "When you give a man no options, you leave him no choice."

For felons out there who are trying, don't let someone as empty as this "person" get you down... Keep your head up, and you'll do fine...

Reasonable people DO understand that "it's not what you DID, it's what you DO."

P-P, you continue to believe what you want, and I'll continue to be smart enough to interact with someone based on his/her merits, instead of something they did which did not/does not affect me...

    I'm done with this conversation...

    Be safe!!
