You just have to have these! No newbie is complete without them. The Headset must be worn at all times, even when you're in the truckstop eating or showering. The Glasses MUST be mirrored and the gloves cannot have fingers! Richard Petty cowboy hat with feathers in the front is optional, but highly recommended. The chain wallet should have a Harley Davidson logo if at all possible...
Things every beginner must have...

After be subjected to 1000's of discourteous calls from ###holes with lots of background noise, complaining about how they can't hear me....because the noise on their end clips their internal ear piece.
I wear my Blue Parrot around the house. And hang up on their ### when they ##### about not hearing me. But I always tell them, I'll talk to them when they turn the noise down. -
I'm glad you're not a little bitter about that...

I didn't see a brain, pulse, or common sense on the list. So I guess those aren't required!
dirtyjerz, Svoray, rocknroll nik and 5 others Thank this. -

I own a Blue Parrot, but never use it. Darn battery has been dead for a year and I keep forgetting to try and find a 12v charger for it.
I do own a hat like that. I got it back in the late 70's (had been my fathers). I would have to go thru boxes to find it though. It is in the attic somewhere.
I never have owned those glasses, and have not owned fingerless gloves since the mid 80's.
Need to add some exotic hide boots to that list. Ostrich or snake skin are good. -
Fingerless gloves. I wear them.
But mine are special. They're camo, and I have to cut the trigger finger out of them myself. Never seen any for sale at Wal-Mart.
Once hunting season is over, I put them up for another year.severdsoul and rocknroll nik Thank this. -
I have the headset but don't have any of the other "requirements"......LOL I do have what Redd listed though so I guess in the "real" world I'm ahead of the curve

He sounded like a wanna be outlaw trucker, talking about all the laws he breaks everyday.

Has the wallet-on-a-chain been dropped from the required equipment list? Things change so fast it's hard to keep up!
